Embolectomy and thrombectomy catheters are intended for removing thromboembolic materials from arteries and veins.

The catheter is available in 3 versions:

  • single - lumen type;
  • double - lumen type;
  • double - lumen for guidewire type.

The embolectomy and thrombectomy catheter is visible in X-rays and consists of, among other things, a flexible tube with length markings (every 10 cm), a distally positioned latex balloon and a hub with a luer-lock connector on the proximal side.
Size of the catheter, size of the compatible guidewire and volume of medium for balloon inflation is printed on the hub.
