Epidural anesthesia

Epidural anesthesia is one type of regional anesthesia (central block). The epidural anesthesia kit usually includes a special needle (Tuohy needle) and an epidural catheter. During epidural anesthesia, the drug is injected into the space between the periosteum and the dura of the spinal cord.
